each week

Members of MOTT attend plantings on most Saturday mornings from late January to early December. Throughout the year, MOTT also hosts to trips to locations of interest to our members. Our trips are usually planned for locations of particular environmental interest, however we also visit historical sites and other places suggested by our members.

You don’t have to be a member of MOTT to attend plantings or trips, so if you’d like to come along, please phone the contact person listed next to the event you’re interest in. We are always happy to welcome new members, or even just once-off planters and will be grateful for any assistance you provide

each year

National Tree Day is Australia’s biggest community tree-planting event and is co-ordinated by Planet Ark. Since Tree Day started in 1996 more than 1.5 million volunteers have planted over 11.5 million native trees and shrubs! MOTT hosts a planting site each year for National Tree Day, which is usually very well attended.

Visit the Planet Ark website for more information about National Tree Day. Refer to the current planting schedule (above) or news for details of this year’s site.
